Baton technique

Monday, July 11th, 9am through Friday, July 15th

These classes are designed for musicians who would like to learn to conduct and for conductors wishing to improve their baton technique.

The primary goal of this class is the realization of the relationship between conducting gestures and the resulting sound and response from the ensemble.

All classes are group with a duration of 1hour (8:15 - 9:15am). Participants are required to bring their instruments to the class.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is possible to register for both the Baton Technique and the Intermediate Course.

Room and Board :

There is a possibility of a private room at the University of Aix en Provence dormitory and lunch at the University cafeteria. You are responsible for all other meals. Please, be aware that the University cafeteria is closed on Saturday and Sunday. International Student I.D. required.
