Advanced Level

All classes are group with a duration of 3 hours

Presentation :

These seminars are intended for advanced conducting students. Daily podium time is 30 to 45 minutes with an orchestral ensemble composed of approximately 25 college Level instrumentalists. For selected conducting students, concert opportunities will be available and offered in different cities in France.
Each student must bring his or her instrument.

Audition and Registration Information :

To audition, you will need to send a complete resume and videotape of your conducting to Sandra Posner in the United States (click on "Contact us"). If you do not have a tape with an orchestra, you may use a small ensemble or even two pianos. You will be notified as soon as possible as to the status of your audition. Please include your e-mail address and phone number. A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified students.
If you are accepted, you will need to send your tuition and completed forms to Sandra Posner at the Wilmette, Illinois (USA), address "click on Contact us" within one week of your acceptance. Registration and Release forms may be found by clicking on each form from the menu on the left. You will need to bring your instrument to the seminar. Insurance for you and your instruments is required. You will also need an International Student ID.
The airfare and travel arrangements are your responsibility.
You must fill out both the Release form and the Registration form. Failure to do so will jeopardize your participation.

Room and Board :

There is a possibility of a private room at the University of Aix en Provence dormitory and lunch at the University cafeteria. You are responsible for all other meals. Please, be aware that the University cafeteria is closed on Saturday and Sunday. International Student I.D. required.
